Positivenergy operates in multiple states of Australia and has a standardised Safe Systems of Work which meets or exceeds the harmonised Work Health and Safety Acts and Regulations in each state.
When implementation of Positivenergy’s Management System first took place, extensive consultation occurred between management, administration, employees, sub-contractors, other relevant businesses within the industry, financial and legal teams, trade associations and training organisations.
We use the Master Electricians Safety Connect system which is able to comply with AS/NZS 4801. As a licensed electrical contractor, we are working towards full accreditation through SAI Global to achieve this certification. It is an ongoing process which we hope to complete in the near future.
All employees are trained and reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure they follow the company’s stringent policies and procedures contained in our SafetyConnect System. Ongoing open consultation, planning, allocation of resources, hazard management, record keeping, reporting, training and assessment, review and evaluation occurs in order for the Management System to remain effective and also for continual improvement of the system.
We also implement and involve our workforce in any Principal Contractors Site Safety Policies and procedures as required.
Safe Systems of Work are an essential part of our company operations and we actively promote a culture of safety to our employees and any sub-contractual companies under our control.
With this in mind, we demonstrate our commitment of consistent quality, accountability, safe systems of work, as well as being focused on building a strong culture and face to face client relationship. With proactive leadership and supervision of our onsite staff, we will deliver our brand promise: “We are positive, reliable and nothing is too much trouble”.
